Drop off & Pick up
The luggage storage service at the Airport is available 24 hours a day upon request. Reservation is only necessary if you intend to drop off your luggage between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM. When you drop off your luggage, you inform us what time you will pick it up.
You just need to choose to the RESERVE form the date and time you will drop off your luggage and approximately the number of the pieces. You also provide us your name and contact information. You can also make a reservation by calling 0030 6973000481 (what’s up and viber also available) and give us the details of your reservation.
The charge per piece of luggage for the three sizes, as defined by the airlines (size guide), and it is shown in our price list here. For larger items, the charge is made upon agreement.
We accept cash (€), VISA, MASTERCARD and IRIS PAYMENTS. Unfortunately we cannot accept American Express.
No deposit is required for the reservation.

For long-term storage or groups of many people, a discount may be offered upon agreement.
You can store all kinds of suitcases and backpacks as well as larger items such as bicycle boxes, pet boxes, wheelchairs, surfboards. For storage of very large items, it would be a good idea to inform us in advance to verify the availability of the space. Very fragile items should be declared.
You cannot store any illegal items or substances under the Greek law, animals, hazardous, flammable or explosive materials, and leaking liquid package.
When delivering your luggage, you must show us an identification document (such as an ID card, passport or driver’s license). We then issue you a quantitative receipt, which you return to us to collect your luggage.
You can find us in a yellow small building, just next to the city bus station, about 80 meters from the main airport building.
Of course it is possible, but you must inform us in advance who will be collecting the luggage. Baggage collection will only be done upon presentation of an identity document.
If you have your luggage ready for delivery, the drop off process takes approximately 2 minutes. You may need to wait a little longer if there is a large influx of customers. The pick-up process is even faster if you have the receipt on hand.
The main reason for charging for this service is the security we provide. We guarantee the integrity of your luggage, by restricting access to other people in the storage area, the multiple cameras recording the area and the alarm system we have. Also, your service is provided by trained human staff in person and not by robots or automated systems. We kindly suggest to check the contents of your luggage upon delivery and upon collection, in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
Luggage can be stored for a maximum of 60 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Unclaimed luggage after 60 days from the scheduled pick-up date will be considered abandoned. HERAKLION LUGGAGE reserves the right to dispose or donate abandoned items.
